I took my daughter out yesterday to watch the Christmas Tree Lighting from my husband's office. My daughter was a social butterfly yesterday, she went and hug most of husband's co-workers. We all simply had a great time with great food. Enclosed are two pics of the Christmas Tree Lighting that I took from my husband's office balcony.
I took my daughter to have Japanese after library time last week. At first I wanted to go to McDonald's, however I realized that there was so many kids cause it was a half day from school.
This is what I ended up ordering 3 rolls for $7.95 + salad. Over where I live the Japanese restaurants are really cheap sushi or sashimi a $1.00 a piece and rolls are $2.50. What a great deal!
Usually I don't bother to attend to these events. However I had nothing to do and was bored at home, I decided to ask my husband to get me a ticket as well. My first time going there was a really unique experience for me. I got to see a lot of different stuff and also I got a lot of free good stuff along with it. My daughter got the opportunity to take a pic with Pikachu, it's so cute.
And then there was one section where they were handing out free raffle ticket for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle stuff and I won an action figure sign by the creator. I guess I don't mind going to it again, it brought a whole new prospective in my image that it isn't so bad at all.
Enclosed are some pics that I took at the convention:

Since Chinese New Year (Year of the Pig) is around the corner, my mother in law asked me if I know how to make Red Envelope Decorations. I told her I tried my best and with my mothers help it was so easy to make this. It took a lot of my time and patience inorder for me to finish it up, but it was fun. I personally think that it could also make a really nice wedding decoration as well. Why did I not think of that before for my own wedding. I guess I was too busy then with work and all I wasn’t in the mood to do so much of the planning.
What are some ways that you celebrate Chinese New Year? Normally we
have a family gathering and have dinner together. Then we all exchange
Red Envelopes, we normally give it out to the kids and to people who
are still single.
Show us the best picture you took in 2006.
