Daremo ga kizukanu uchi ni

Futto kizukeba anata wa inai
Omoide dake wo nokoshite
Sewashii toki no naka kotoba wo ushinatta
Ningyoutachi no you ni
Machikado ni afureta noraneko no you ni
Koe ni naranai sakebi ga kikoete kuru

Lyrics(translated English):

Everyone loses something
Before they even realise it
I suddenly realise that you've gone
Leaving behind only memories
In the age of rapid change, we lost our words
Like dolls
Like all those lost cats on the street corner
I hear a silent scream
If I could see you one more time
I just want to say one word: Thank you
Even if we hurt each other
I want to keep feeling you
At least I have my memories to comfort me
I'll always have you here
If I could see you one more time
I just want to say one word: Thank you
Even if we hurt each other
I want to keep feeling you...

KOKIA Dandelion (unplugged):
So, I've totally neglected my vox account. Close to forgetting about it to be exact. But here I am anyways.
Much had transpired since the last time I post here. First of all, John and I officially got engaged on June 22, 2008. The proposal happened in April last year (2008), then it took us almost two months to search for an engagement ring all over the place in California and Nevada -- John wanted to get a really high quality diamond, and I was looking for a dainty design that would fit my small hand. Not that I am THAT picky, but we ended up designing the ring together and having it custom made. Then, on June 22nd, we had a big engagement ceremony/party at my parents' home, where he officially put the ring on me in front of our families and about 100 other guests. Yeah, big party.
After that, we started planning our wedding during weekends, on top of doing our usual community volunteer activities and travelling and everything else.
And now, we are only 28 days till our BIG DAY!!! We are getting married on April 11th!
The wedding will be held in a beautiful winery in Temecula, with an outdoor ceremony in the rose arbor that overlooks the vineyards, then a cocktail hour would follow before the dinner banquet in the winery banquet room commence. Most of the planning process went very smoothly, and now we are planning all the details. There are still a lot to do, but we are confident that it will all go reasonably well.
I am rather calm about the whole planning process really. Having planned events for various non-profits for the past 4 years helps. I don't see a bridezilla in me, and don't believe that one would emerge out of nowhere either.
I am excited!
I still write mostly at www.wakinghour.net, so go there if you want more updates.
