This is my second attempt printing it on my gocco machine using green
risco ink. I finally got the idea how to use it and finally able to
position it right using flat and note cards. Also I realized that the
texture of the cards are important too. Last time I used a heavy duty
card stock and it didn’t print out that well. The text got smudged,
anyway I finally made a whole bunch of sets and selling them at my Etsy shop.
aww i love these! i never did get my gocco to do such nice and detailed prints. it seemed as if the ink always kind of ran into each other when i went to press down. what is your trick?!
I think the paper texture are always important. I normally use A7 cards. If you decide to you two different color you should do 2 screen prints.
Also when I first illustrate my work, I transfer it to photoshop, open a blank file CMYK - I do 100 dpi or u can do higher dpi. The better resolution the better for it to print. Print it out, but also make a xerox copy of it cause the xerox machine has a carbon toner in it and that gives a better results when you are going to make a master print.
Hope this works...and it's really fun playing with a gocco.
i wish i had more time to play with the gocco. actually in order to do that i'd have to go dig it out of the garage first. lol lots of stuff got moved into storage to make room for the little man. i cannot wait to move into a bigger place, but i know that won't be for awhile. regardless..i wanted to say i checked your etsy shop and the wedding invites are so cute.
